Por otro lado, debemos tener claro que el fr\u00edo no es un concepto en s\u00ed mismo, sino la ausencia de calor en un cuerpo. Cuando aumenta la energ\u00eda interna, aumenta la temperatura. Cuando se unen dos cuerpos con diferentes temperaturas, la transferencia de calor siempre ser\u00e1 del cuerpo m\u00e1s caliente al m\u00e1s fr\u00edo. El aire tiene poco calor espec\u00edfico, lo que significa que requiere poca energ\u00eda para aumentar su temperatura. Si la sustancia sufre cambios de temperatura al aportar o restar calor, se dice que el calor puesto en juego es sensible.
