KEYTER Group announces the launch of its Foundation to foster education, sustainability, and innovation in Andalusia
Lucena, July 22, 2025 – In a significant move toward social responsibility and regional development, KEYTER INTARCON GENAQ, through its chairman Aurelio García, today unveiled the bylaws of what will soon become the KEYTER Group Foundation.
At the Ministry of Justice headquarters, the Director General for Juvenile Justice and Cooperation, Esteban Rondón Mata, and the Head of the Protectorate Service, José María de la Maza Góngora—joined by the Directorate General’s Coordinator, Juan Carlos Bretón Bésnier—welcomed Aurelio García Álvarez, President of the KEYTER Group, alongside Francisco López Banderas and José Moya Yoldi.
The Protectorate is an administrative body within the Junta de Andalucía tasked with advising and supporting foundations in the region and ensuring their proper functioning.
Aurelio García also unveiled a detailed action plan for the Foundation, outlining the activities to be carried out, its objectives, the key performance indicators, and the corresponding budget.
This initiative aims to contribute to the social, educational, cultural, and technological progress of Andalusia, establishing Lucena as a benchmark not only in the industrial refrigeration sector but also in terms of solidarity and social action. The presentation of the bylaws marks a significant step toward the Foundation’s official establishment, signaling that its launch is imminent.
The KEYTER Group Foundation was born with a clear vision: to drive society’s future through education, sustainability and innovation. Its purpose is to support initiatives in education, culture, sport, technological innovation and the development of new skills—with a special focus on the local community, the Andalusian region and the people who have backed the company’s growth for decades.
