KEYTER and INTARCON successfully wrap up the 2026 Technical Seminar Series on Indirect Systems

The seminars brought together HVAC&R sector professionals in different cities across Spain to explore high-efficiency solutions applied to air conditioning, refrigeration, and the decarbonisation of installations.

KEYTER and INTARCON have successfully concluded the 2026 Technical Seminars on Indirect Systems, a training and outreach initiative designed to introduce the HVAC&R sector to new solutions aimed at improving energy efficiency, reducing the environmental impact of installations, and moving towards more sustainable air conditioning and refrigeration models.

Throughout the various seminars held in Spain, the programme brought together professionals from installation and maintenance companies, engineering firms, training centres, public administrations, end users, and other key stakeholders in the sector. Overall, more than 200 companies and organisations were represented in this technical programme, which created spaces for learning, knowledge exchange, and professional networking.

The sessions addressed key issues for the present and future of the sector, such as the role of indirect systems in air conditioning and refrigeration applications, the integration of heat pumps as a decarbonisation technology, hydraulic efficiency, solutions using low-GWP refrigerants, new regulatory scenarios, Energy Savings Certificates, and the opportunities linked to the modernisation of thermal installations.

The programme featured the participation of specialists from KEYTER and INTARCON, who shared success stories and real-life experiences related to indirect systems, sustainable refrigeration, and heat pump solutions for high-efficiency installations.

In addition, the seminars were made possible thanks to the collaboration of technical partners such as IMI Hydronic, Climalife, and ATuAire, among other collaborators, who contributed their expertise in complementary areas such as hydraulic balancing, smart control, lower-environmental-impact refrigerants, and the financing of energy efficiency projects.

This collaborative approach enabled attendees to gain a comprehensive view of the solutions available to address the sector’s current challenges: reducing energy consumption, adapting to new regulatory requirements, transitioning towards more sustainable refrigerants, and improving the overall performance of installations.

KEYTER and INTARCON have expressed a very positive assessment of the response received throughout the entire programme, both in terms of attendance levels and the technical quality of the participating profiles, as well as the interest generated around the technologies presented.

With this initiative, both companies reinforce their commitment to technical training, knowledge transfer, and support for HVAC&R professionals throughout the energy transition process.

“These seminars have allowed us to bring real solutions closer to the market and generate technical discussion around the challenges that are already shaping the present of air conditioning and refrigeration. For KEYTER and INTARCON, training and collaboration with the sector are essential elements in promoting more efficient, sustainable, and competitive installations,” the organisation stated.

Following the success of this programme once again this year, KEYTER and INTARCON will continue to promote training activities and technical meetings aimed at sharing knowledge, showcasing real application cases, and contributing to the development of a sector that is increasingly prepared to face the challenges of decarbonisation and energy efficiency.
