Keyter has become an associate member of CTA Foundation (Technological Corporation of Andalusia) with the aim of accelerating its innovation capacity in its activity related to industrial air conditioning, specifically with heating, cooling, ventilation and air purification technologies (HVAC+R).
Keyter’s CEO, Antonio Blanco, explains that the company joined to CTA “because it sees it as an opportunity to cooperate in industrial development and innovation in Andalusia”.
Founded in 2013 and based in Lucena, Keyter is a group of industrial companies dedicated to the design, development, manufacture and marketing of solutions based on heating, cooling, ventilation and air purification technologies (HVAC+R). Recognised for its work in R&D&I, Keyter is faithful to the principles of sustainability, reliability and energy efficiency, with a presence in Spain, Europe, Latin America, North Africa, the Middle East and Asia-Pacific.
With this incorporation, CTA now has more than 170 member companies of all sectors and sizes that share a firm commitment to innovation.
Design-oriented R&D&I, energy efficiency and optimal performance
Keyter is a group of industrial companies dedicated to the design, engineering, manufacture and marketing of systems and solutions based on refrigeration and air conditioning technologies (HVAC+R). Its location in Andalusia, the warmest area in Europe, allows it to test equipment in the most extreme circumstances, so that it performs at its best.
Keyter is renowned for its R&D&I work and for being committed to the development of projects related to technological innovation and environmental preservation. It has 13 sales and technical service offices in Spain and a growing presence around the world, with the recent opening of sales and service subsidiaries in the Netherlands, Turkey, France and Switzerland. The company currently exports more than 50% of its manufacturing outside Spain.

Energy efficiency and optimisation of operational performance, while maintaining design, are some of the key objectives of its strategy of innovation and incorporation of disruptive technologies.

CTA is a private foundation with more than 17 years of experience and made up of more than 170 companies of all sectors and sizes with innovation as a common denominator. CTA is dedicated to the promotion of R&D&I and technology transfer, contributes to improving the competitiveness of companies, professionals and organisations, facilitates their access to R&D&I activities and promotes technological innovation and continuous improvement processes.
CTA is a strategic partner in innovation that has its own private incentive programme with its own funds for R&D&I business projects. It also offers a wide range of innovation support services: from strategic planning to Public Procurement of Innovation (PPI), including the internationalisation of R&D&I, the evaluation of technology-based business projects and support for technological entrepreneurship.
CTA has also deployed an international strategy with which it has positioned itself as a reference partner in European projects, participating in more than 30 projects (financed by H2020, Cosme or Interreg programmes) and in the multilateral market (financed by multilateral organisations such as the Inter-American Development Bank or the Central American Bank for Economic Integration.
