Thermal installations decarbonization with efficient HVAC systems

New technical conference organized by Engineers College of Catalonia in Girona next Wednesday September 28th at 6pm. Rafael Vidal, Keyter Commercial Engineer, will analyze current market situation and the future of HVAC (heating, ventilation and air conditioning) units.
The current regulatory framework will be presented, which will cover from the EcoDesign regulations, F-GAS regulations evolution as well as state regulations, CTE, RITE and new taxes on fluorinated gases.
The different alternatives currently offered by the market will be presented in search of improving energy efficiency and sector decarbonization by reducing fossil fuels use in HVAC sector and DHW (domestic hot water) production. Under these guidelines, a lot of innovation has been made in developing new Roof-top units as well as medium and high-power Chillers & Heat Pumps combined with natural refrigerants and very low GWP (Global Warming Potential) which allow working ranges at higher temperatures. In addition, existing solutions for renewable energy hybridization will be presented.
